SOSD (Save Our Street Dogs) is a volunteer-run, non-profit organisation dedicated to improving the welfare of Singapore’s strays. With a mission rooted in compassion, SOSD rescues, rehabilitates, and rehomes abandoned dogs while actively advocating against the culling of strays.
The team works tirelessly to provide medical care, training, and shelter for rescued dogs, giving them the support they need to heal and prepare for adoption. Beyond rescue, SOSD also drives awareness about responsible pet ownership and champions humane solutions to managing the stray dog population in Singapore.

This year, Paws for a Cause supports SOSD Singapore and their ongoing efforts to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome street dogs. Our initiative is part of SOSD’s Pawsitive Future: Confidence and Connection Training Programme 2025, which helps rescued dogs rebuild trust, confidence, and social skills so they can find loving homes.
Funds raised will also go toward SOSD’s broader mission of providing essential care, including food, shelter, medical treatment, and rehabilitation for dogs in need. Guided by professionals and supported by devoted volunteers, these efforts give every rescued dog a chance to heal, grow, and find the forever family they deserve.
